Large bolo made from Montana slate with blue and black hand painted stone

This large slate bolo is made from Montana slate and hand painted with metallic sapphire blue, and black on top the slate. Resin finish. 2 inches long and about .25 inches thick, with large, flip locking slide and fancy, silver toned tips.

Most of our Maverick Man bolos comes with 4-5mm braided leather cord. Our unusual stones are created as a piece of an original painting, directly onto slate we've quarried from GA and PA. This one is one of the few bolos we've made with the "purple" Montana slate. Unique. Distinctive... and totally uncommon.

Known as the official neckwear of the southwest, bolos have made a comeback and you won't see anything like these anywhere else in the world! For both men and women; boys and girls.
