What's a slate bolo? It's a world-exclusive bolo made from a rock called slate. Slate forms in sheets and splits off into the perfect size for bolos, buckles and the jewelry we make for ladies. 

Each piece of stone is individually selected, then split, ground, filed, and sanded into many shapes and sizes, before we put the "wow" on them with our unique painting technique, and a resin finish. Slate is still used on pool table tops, floor tiles, patio pavers, and roofs. In the US, real slate is only found in small veins, in the Appalachians. We get our slate pieces from the heart of the Appalachians in PA, VA, and GA.
